You are free to use some minor detail from these pages as the prompt for your story; you are free to update or alter or completely disregard any historical facts. Your story should, however, begin with an epigraph that suggests the inspiration for your story.

Your story should not be longer than 1,000 words (4 double-spaced pages) and should be placed in the Exercise 3 folder on Google Drive. Documents should be named in this manner: YourName.exercise3.doc (or docx).

Your story is due by midnight, Monday, September 30.

“Solve” one of the equations below by writing a love story. Your story should not be longer than 1,000 words (4 double-spaced pages) and should be placed in the Exercise 2 folder on Google Drive. Documents should be named in this manner: YourName.ex2.doc (or docx).
